These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EduSyn platform and website at edusyn.online (the "Service"), operated by EduSyn ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of your institute.
• One account corresponds to one institute. Each institute receives a unique subdomain (e.g., yourname.coaching.edusyn.online).

2. Free Trial

• We offer a 14-day free trial with full access to all features.
• No credit card is required to start a trial.
• At the end of the trial period, your account will be suspended unless you subscribe to a paid plan.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the trial offering at any time.
• Trial accounts are limited to one per institute. Creating multiple trial accounts to extend free access is prohibited.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload or transmit harmful code, malware, or any content that could damage or impair the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals.
• Use the Service to store or process data that violates the privacy rights of any individual.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without our written permission.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service.

4. Your Data

• Ownership: You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including student records, fee data, attendance records, and exam results.
• License to us: You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
• Data portability: You may request an export of your data at any time.
• Responsibility: You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of data you enter, including obtaining appropriate consent for student information (especially for minors).
• Backup: While we maintain regular backups, we recommend you keep your own copies of critical data.

5. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
• Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance via email or in-app notification.
• We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, third-party service failures, or force majeure events.

6. Payment Terms

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, as selected during subscription.
• All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
• Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored at their current rate until the next renewal.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of payment if you believe a refund is warranted.

7. Intellectual Property

• The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by EduSyn and protected by intellectual property laws.
• "EduSyn", the EduSyn logo, and related marks are our trademarks. You may not use them without our written permission.
• We do not claim any intellectual property rights over the data you enter into the Service.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

• By you: You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. Upon cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.
• By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. We will provide reasonable notice except in cases of serious violations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
